Fashion Avenue News & Model World Magazine, the global, luxury publications sweeping the fashion industry will produce their annual FREE New Year’s Eve event with 2 fashion shows. This year we have a larger venue, the Holiday Inn on West 57th Street Embassy Grand Ballroom (holds 400 people). This hotel has 2 restaurants that are open until midnight and the bar stays open until 4:00AM.
After producing this FREE event for over 5 years, and listening to feedback from our growing audience, we have installed a VIP, EARLY ENTRY, GUARANTEE TABLE SEATING, WITH GIFT BAG option.
This is a FRIENDLY, FAMILY ORIENTATED NEW YEARS EVE EVENT. Everyone 21+ is welcome and will enjoy themselves. You can come with a group or alone and you will have fun, we are the friendliest people in the fashion industry. While you dance the night away in the comfort of the Embassy Grand Ballroom, you can watch the ball drop in Time Square on the Big Screen. If you have attended our FREE New Year’s Eve Fashion Avenue News Magazine Event before, you know you should arrive to line up early, as we have a very large following and limited seating (except for VIP TABLES).
INFORMATION ON THE EVENING:
- Tuxedo Wearing Gentlemen can jump to the front of the line from 9:00pm-10:00pm. After 10:00pm, you will have to wait in line with the regular guest. (only the person in the Tux (and date) can come to the front of the line, any man without a Tux will have to wait in line).
- YOU CANNOT BRING IN YOUR OWN DRINKS OR FOOD. YOU MUST PURCHASE FOOD AND DRINKS FROM THE BAR/RESTAURANT IN THE HOTEL. You can bring in food or drinks PURCHASED at the Hotel establishments into the Ballroom. *There is NO drink minimum.

DRESS CODE: Dressy, UpScale, Luxury, Gowns & Opera Coats, Cocktail dresses, little black dresses, etc., welcome, NO JEANS, NO SNEAKERS, NO EXCEPTIONS YOU WILL TURNED AWAY.
VENDOR SET UP: 7:00pm-8:30pm – All vendors MUST be set up no later than 8:30pm or you will not be able to Vendor and there will be no refund. If you would like to be a vendor at the New Year’s Eve event, please purchase a Vendor ticket. A vendor ticket will give you a table with 2 seats.
DOORS OPEN: VIP GUARANTEE SEAT ENTRY starting at 8:00pm – 9:00pm (find out how to get VIP entry, guarantee seat and gift bag.

1st Fashion Show – 10:00pm SHARP

11:30pm – Countdown to New Year (watching on the big screen)
12:00am-1:30am – PARTY IN THE NEW YEAR
1:30am – MUSIC IS TUNED OFF
1:30am – 4:00am Party continues at the Bar in the Lobby
NOTE: We do NOT have a block of rooms or any special pricing set up, if people would like to make reservation at the hotel, so you don’t drink and drive, you can contact the Holiday Inn directly at (212) 581-8100
SUGGESTIONS: The event is FREE. If you would like VIP, GUARANTEED SEATING, EARLY ENTRY AND GIFT BAG, (one gift bag per table) you may purchase a table for $250.00, which seats 10 people. Only PURCHASED TABLE will have VIP Guaranteed Entry and Seating. There is extremely limited seating, only purchased table will be put out with your name and RESERVED on it. If you decide to purchase a table, you must claim your table no later than 9:00pm. When the doors open to the general public your table will be released and no refund will be granted.
